CREATING BEAUTIFUL SMILES WITH FULL MOUTH IMPLANTS
Also known as All-on-Four®
Many people don’t realize it, but just four implants can be used to replace all the teeth at the top or bottom of your mouth. Thanks to advancements in dental technology, replacing the entire top, or bottom row of teeth with implants couldn’t be easier, more convenient, or most of all, cost-effective!
TEETH-IN-A-DAY™ is a revolutionary concept providing patients with fully functioning teeth in one single procedure! This procedure can be done on a single missing tooth or multiple missing teeth. This allows for you to have an immediate temporary fixed prosthesis eliminating the need to go without teeth!
All-on-Four® offers a full mouth fixed dental prosthesis for patients who have failing teeth, bad teeth, broken caps and bridges, and missing teeth. It may consist of full mouth teeth replacement due to severe periodontal gum disease. The four dental implants support a full mouth replacement of about 10 to 12 teeth. A fixed bridge with teeth is placed immediately, or typically within 24 hours of dental implant placement. We are proud to offer graft-less solutions in implant treatment to our patients! This treatment is available to patients who are missing all of their teeth and have severe bone loss. With the advent of the All-on-Four® concept, and Zygomaticus implants, these patients are able to have implants placed without the need for any bone grafting. This results in a permanently fixed prosthesis that resembles your natural teeth preserving your facial appearance!
What’s the difference?
The Patient Experience
To begin an All-on-Four® treatment concept, patients receive a preliminary consultation with Dr. Collins, who then decides the best approach for the procedure. After special guides and temporary teeth are made, patients schedule the surgery with our offices.
During an All-on-Four® treatment concept, our Dr. Collins removes the teeth from the patient’s dental arch, and places the dental implants. The surgery takes about an hour and a half, and it can be performed under either I.V. sedation or local anesthesia. Our practice can offer the procedure through an outpatient surgery center for the patient’s comfort if needed.
The All-on-Four® treatment concept offers patients a same-day solution! A few hours after the implants are placed, Dr. Collins can connect new, transitional teeth, which patients will use for 4 to 5 months as their implants become stronger. At the end of that period, Dr. Collins trades these teeth for a set of permanent hybrid ones.
If you want an answer for your missing or decaying teeth, the All-on-Four® treatment concept provides a solution that looks and feels like your own natural teeth and that can last for years and years. Benefits of All-on-Four®
All-on-Four® implants is a great treatment for patients that need to replace virtually all of their natural teeth! The procedure has a high success rate, and can virtually eliminate the need for bone grafting which is an invasive, uncomfortable, and costly procedure.
The procedure is generally quick (estimation of 1 to 2 hours) and you will have full function afterwards, as opposed to traditional dental implants that require multiple visits over 3-6 months to complete.
